Well, by now you know my name, but in case you missed it - Hi! I'm Shy. When you choose to come in front of my lens I ask you to be real, raw, and authentic self so it's only fair that I do the same.

I have always been a bit of a *wild child* - riding horses in thunderstorms, running barefoot through the trees, climbing mountains. The rivers and the woods raised me. And it was there amongst the pines that I found myself, my love for the great outdoors and my passion for photography.

Since becoming a mother, I have realized the importance of celebrating every little moment. The magic of these years isn't measured by the milestones but the moments. In 10 years we will long to remember the way they looked at us with awe, the way they ran into our arms and snuggled into our chest. My love for documenting the real-life laughter, snuggles, tears, and joy started with my family and now strive to capture that for every famliy that graces my lens.

Couples, Maternity, and Family sessions are very personal and intimate. It takes trust to let someone new into your home, into your life. We will have several consultations to build our relationship and discuss this process so on the day of your shoot you aren't thinking about who is behind the camera, but who you are in front of it with.
